Stephan has more than 20 years of senior-level experience leading large-scale industry transformation. He most recently served as Chief Digital Officer at Handelsbanken, a role he held for nine years.
Prior to Handelsbanken, Stephan spent ten years at Ericsson, where he held roles including Director of Strategic Marketing and Networked Society Evangelist.
Before joining Ericsson, Stephan was Senior Executive Vice President of Strategy and Sales Coordination at T-Systems in Germany, Deutsche Telekom’s ICT services provider. He also held several leadership roles within Deutsche Telekom, spanning sales, strategy and business development, and served as Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Stephan holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and RWTH Aachen, Germany. He has completed executive education programs at London Business School, Boston University, ESMT Berlin, and Kellogg School of Management.
