Mats is an experienced executive with a background of Operational leadership roles in the Tech, Telecom and Defence industries. His focus areas are in IT, Tech, Digital Transformations, Business Integrations, Supply Chain, Sourcing and Corporate Development. He has a vast global experience managing global organisations and participating in global advisory boards such as Gartner Research Board, IDC advisory board and several Customer Advisory Boards.
Mats Hultin is an experienced technology leader, advisor and board member with several Advisory Board roles as well as non executive Board engagements.
He has been group CIO for Ericsson and Saab in total 16 years. In his CIO role he has led many Digital transformations (Cloud Transformations, SAP and ERP Modernizations, Salesforce implementation, AI and GenAI transformations, Cybersecurity etc…) as well as Business Integrations and transformations.
Prior to the CIO roles Mats spent 10+ years in R&D in different management roles – 7 years in aircraft aftermarket business including advanced logistics and supply chain management.
Mats also spent 4 years in the Swedish Air Force. He has been a delegate and European chairman of ASD Customer Support Committee (Aerospace & Defence Europe) for 5 years.
Mats hold a Master’s degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering as well as a MBA in Global Business Management.
