In the EMEA Strategic Sales Team at Amazon Web Services, Joakim was working on closing the most complex and strategic customer engagements in EMEA. Prior to Amazon Web Services, Joakim was part of the Global Strategic Deal Team at DXC Technology leading a pan European big deal sales team.
At IBM As an Executive Partner, Joakim was focussing on strategic deals, and in the capacity as Strategic Sales Leader for IBM Norway initiated, developed and closed deals resulting in a doubling of the IBM revenues in Norway over 3 years, closing more than 1,6 BUSD in large complex outsourcing deals.
Joakim was recruited into the initial Accenture Nordic Big Deal Team in 2004, with the mandate to establish outsourcing as a new business unit representing half of the total Accenture business in the Nordic Region.
With extensive experience in supporting and closing complex hyperscaler contracts and outsourcing contracts, Joakim has joined Burnt Oak Partners in 2021 with the aim to help Clients establish better hyperscaler partnerships.
Joakim has a M.Sc. from Purdue University, Indiana, USA.
