Irene Veldstra is a strategic international commercial executive with 24 years of ICT outsourcing and engagement experience across the globe. Most recently she was CEO, Regional Vice President and Sales Director Benelux at Getronics. Prior to that, she has held various positions in strategic sales and global account management for leading international companies. With a passion for people, for profitable business growth as well as for her customers, she leads with relentless energy and optimism, focus,transparency, and efficiency. She has been recognized internationally for her strategic abilities in complex ecosystems and obtaining results.
Irene is at her best as a frontline dealmaker taking control and resolving challenges at all levels, driving engagements and deals towards closure with a great flair for relationships and reducing complexities, whilst empowering her hierarchical and functional teams.
She is driven by her passion for innovation and transformation, and by the opportunity to push boundaries to create a strong company culture fostering transparency and entrepreneurship while achieving the company vision and improving its financial performance.

Having navigated a broad range of commercial and leadership positions including consulting, sales, delivery and financial management combined with significant large deals experience, her objective is to take Burnt Oak’s client teams to the next level during every step of their outsourcing engagement and to increase the company’s presence in the Benelux area.
As an advocate for women in the technology sector, she actively supports and coaches women. In her free time, she enjoys co-piloting in historic regularity car rallies in central Europe and Scandinavia besides spending time with her husband and two children.
