Gunnar has spent the past three decades working for the Nordic IT industry in many different sales management and delivery management roles. Main companies of employment have been IBS, WM-data, Software Innovation (Tieto), Logica, CGI, L&T Infotech. Gunnar has been deeply involved in outsourcing projects including people transfer and process transformation. Partner relationships with other System integrators, Software – and Infrastructure providers have also been an important part of his understanding of the outsourcing experience.
During four years after the millennium Gunnar was CEO of Software Innovation Sweden and managed a complete turn-around, including acquiring an IT consultancy with 45 employees. Since 2016 Gunnar is working as an interim manager in the area of business development.
Gunnar has worked with setting up global delivery contracts and solutions for Nordic clients. For many of these this has been their first experience of a foreign delivery. Both development and maintenance deliveries have been from either near-shore and off-shore in India. Gunnar has a good understanding of the difference between success and failure in this type of projects.
Gunnar holds an MSc of Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, SSE and a degree in Executive Leadership from the same instituition.
