Johan Askervi

FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS, Johan has held various consultant and management positions in the IT outsourcing industry.

In the early 2000 Johan started his endeavours developing and successfully delivering outsourcing services with focus on the financial sector. Since then Johan has build up extensive experience in the IT and sourcing industry. In mid 2000, the focus was on was to structure and executing on large international IT and BPO Transition and Transformation engagements for multinational entities. As of late 2000, Johan is an industry advisor in the IT sector, with extensive experience in strategies and structuring sourcing engagements and deals. Over the latter years Johan has represented firms such as EquaTerra and PA Consulting Group, and now a partner at Burnt Oak Partners.

Johan’s long engagement in the industry gives him the experience and the relationships in the market to provide key insights on all aspects in sourcing and as an Industry advisor in M&A activities. Today, Johan is acknowledged as a trusted advisor to many CXO’s and senior management, both on the buyer and seller side.

Johan holds an MSc in Economics and Information Systems from the University of Borås and an MBA from the University of Gothenburg.
